The Parish of the Transfiguration of the Lord will celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord with a daily Mass at 8:30 a.m. and a Latin High Mass at 6 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Church in Bar Harbor.

In celebration of the Year of St. Francis and the Feast of St. Claire, St. Paul the Apostle Parish is offering a one-day family pilgrimage to St. Francis of Assisi Church in Belfast, one of three official pilgrimage sites in Maine.
A Mass will be celebrated in French in appreciation of and to honor our Acadian ancestors who, through much difficulty, brought the Catholic faith, French language, and culture to northern Maine.
To commemorate the feast of Our Lady of the Snows, members of Our Lady of the Snows Parish in Dexter, St. Agnes Parish in Pittsfield, and visitors are invited to an outdoor Mass and barbecue on August 16 at the Kiwanis Park on Park Street in Dover-Foxcroft.
As a new academic year approaches, students, teachers, and staff are invited to attend the Sunday, August 16, 10:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Rosary Church in Caribou for a special back-to-school blessing.
St. Mary of the Visitation Parish will hold a Harvest Mass on Sunday, August 23, at Fitzpatrick & Peabody Farm, located at 529 North Street in Houlton.
Father Hoa Tien Nguyen, parochial vicar of Holy Spirit Parish in Wells, will offer a Mass in Vietnamese on Sunday, August 23, at 5 p.m. at St. Martha Church in Kennebunk. All are invited to attend the celebration.

St. John Vianney Parish will celebrate a Harvest Mass at St. John Church in St. John Plantation on Thursday, October 15, at 6 p.m.
Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate the Red Mass on Tuesday, October 20, at 5:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street in Portland. A reception will follow.
On November 1, we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints.
On the Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord, we celebrate the birth of Christ. It is the feast of the Incarnation, the feast of God becoming flesh. The Christmas season is a time to reflect on the gift of salvation that is born with him, including the fact that Christ was born to die for us.
